Why le Charvet ?
Le Charvet is an old ski slope in Monêtier-les-Bains where we used to ski and where our children learned to ski when they were little. This blue slope no longer exists but for us the name evokes good family times.
This country house dating from 1777 is located in the center of the village (70 rue de Bretagne).It once housed a stabble on the ground floor with a dwelling above and 2 floors of hay storage.
We renovated it in 2017/2018 and separated it into two apartments.
The upper part of the house is dedicated to guests and the lower part of the
house is for our family.
The two apartments have individual separate access via a path covered by a
porch. A private parking space is located at the foot of the house. Access to the 2 entrances to the apartments is via a path covered by a porch and separate entrances. A room with a closed cupboard is at your disposal in the garden of the house to store your ski equipment in winter or your bikes in summer.
A personalized welcome is given on your arrival for the handover of the keys .
A key box with code is available in the event of late arrival or for the management of keys by holidaymakers. Underfloor heating with thermostat in each room allows you to adjust the temperature.
The accommodation is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
Bed, bathroom and household linen are provided and beds are made upon your arrival. An end-of-stay cleaning package is offered at an additional cost.
The tourist tax is €2/adult/day.
The accomodation is issued upon reservation. We speak English !
