The apartment is located in the center of the village of Monêtier-les-Bains, a few steps from all the shops, the cinema and the famous bath : les Grands Bains de Monêtier.
With 250 km of slopes, Serre Chevalier Vallée is the one of the largest ski area in France. Slopes suitable for all winter sports, skiing in the valley or in the larch forest, high mountain atmospheres with renowned off-piste areas, give this resort a sporty and fun character.
The start of the ski slopes is about 500 m from the house. You can get there on foot (8 min walk) or by taking a shuttle from the church square next door.

Other ski resorts are located near the house and offer even more skiing opportunities. Note La Grave and its off-piste area, Montgenèvre linked to Italy or Puy-Saint-Vincent!
In summer, you will find many walks from the house. Maps and hiking books can be handed over to you if need be..You can also consult the tourism office. By bike, the legendary passes of the Alps such as the Galibier, the Granon, the Izoard or the Lautaret are available to you for unforgettable outings.
Finally, at a 20 minute drive from Monetier you will find Briançon with all the amenities of a big city. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is also a city of art and history to discover!
